SUMMARY

From somewhere beyond, a distant call breaks the silence, and demands an answer. The Calling unfolds as four solitary trumpet voices summon the ensemble into an ancient, ritualistic world, their melodies echoing outward before being answered, transformed, and passed from voice to voice. With each invocation, the boundary between those who call and those who follow begins to disappear, drawing the entire ensemble toward something powerful and unknown. Haunting, ceremonial, and steeped in mystery, The Calling explores the irresistible pull of a voice we cannot help but follow.
