With pervasive meter changes, metric modulations, syncopations and polymeters, the piece never settles into a comfortable 4/4 pattern, always keeping the performers and the audience on their toes!

 SUMMARY

ANTIprism is a percussion ensemble piece for nine performers. It is an exploration of transient textures, and, virtually absent of melody, is a gradation of rich, colorful sonorities and stacked tertian harmonies, that then morph into dissonance, and finally transform into a cacophony of solely non-pitched percussion instruments. Simply, it is an aural representation of shifting from vivid chroma to austere grayscale, where harmony eventually mutates into mere texture.

Supernova is a piece that was inspired by the massive explosion that a star gives off once it dies. Throughout the entirety piece, massive grooves and chaotic material signify several "supernovae" as the energy is scattered throughout the vacuum of space -- in this case, the performance hall!
