SUMMARY
Symphonic Evolution depicts the dichotomy between string and wind instruments at the intersection of classical and modern styles of music. The show begins as a sort of battle between the strings and the winds, where the winds battle the strings in the opener before a moment of calm allows the strings to dominate in the ballad. As the show reaches its conclusion, the string and wind instruments begin to work together harmoniously.
NOTE: While preferred, you do not need a string quintet to perform this show! The quintet can be adapted to almost any SSATB wind arrangement.
