MARCHING BAND
All marching shows have source material listed under the “Repertoire” section. There is a disclaimer at the bottom of each list.
Any piece marked with an asterisk (*) is copyright protected.
If no asterisks are present, it means all pieces are copyright protected.
If no disclaimer is present, it means all pieces are in the public domain.
All copyrighted music needs a “Permission To Arrange” license in order to perform those works. Such licenses must be acquired BEFORE any copyrighted materials are disseminated. This is non-negotiable. The timeframe and costs for acquiring these permissions vary, so please plan accordingly. I will work with you on obtaining these licensing permissions.
Each arrangement includes:
PDFs of the wind score and wind parts
Full and winds-only audio files
XML files
Sibelius or Finale files (depending on the production).
If you are interested in the percussion book that is associated with a particular arrangement, I can put you in contact with the original designer.
Every production can be edited to meet the needs of your ensemble.
Please note: all edits are limited to winds material only (except in cases where I wrote the front ensemble book for a show). Such edits can include:
Instrumentation additions or subtractions
Featured soloist or small ensemble changes
Technical modifications
Combining movements/sections of up to 3 different shows to create a “semi-custom” show.
PLEASE NOTE: edits DO NOT include NEW written material.
If you need edits made to the percussion material, please confer with the original percussion arranger. If you are combining different productions, it is recommended — but not required — to choose productions that share the same percussion arranger to help ensure a more cohesive musical package and efficient delivery of materials.
Edit fees are supplemented on top of the original base lease fee. All edits except for instrumentation adjustments carry a minimum fee of $250.
We offer contest protection/regional exclusivity.
To ensure these protections, we need to know require your primary festival/contest circuit, and it is even more preferable for us to know your competition schedule once you have it finalized.
We never want ANY bands participating in a contest/festival in which another band is performing the same show, regardless of competitive class. We take this extremely seriously, but we can only implement protections if we have the proper information as soon as possible.
